There are booths (in the vicinity of Baan Sammi) which consist of a tiny table in front of a private property adjacent to a village road or country road, with groceries (mainly fruit and vegetables from private garden) or home-made food and similar products being offered for sale.
Prices are low. Sometimes, there is a price label attached. Usually, there is no seller staying at the booth. If there is a money box on the booth table, you may drop in the money for goods you wish to buy, or, you may call the owner. Call สวัสดีค่ะ (sawat-di-kha) if you are female, or สวัสดีครับ (sawat-di-khrap) if you are male, or let softly sound the horn of your car or motorbike, this is not perceived as a nuisance to most Thai people.
